Meet Johnny: a little boy blessed with a gorgeous head of hair and two of the nicest parents a child could hope for. Upon first meeting them, John and Jayme are so easy to be around that you feel like you’ve been friends with them forever. Luckily for me, they recently became our neighbors, and they were gracious enough to let me walk down to their house to gain a little newborn photography experience.
Though I have two little ones of my own, I’ll admit that I was too sleep deprived to really capture all of those shots I had in mind when they were two weeks old. There’s just so much that you want to freeze in time when a child is so incredibly new: the flaky skin, the wrinkled hands, the new strands of hair, the first expressions. Thankfully, Johnny was completely relaxed the entire time I was there, so I was able to capture those details and then some. Be warned, this is a long line of pictures…there were too many sweet ones not to share!
