Sweet Baby Boy

Now that my girls are officially out of the baby stage, having the gift of spending time with newborns is well, a gift. There’s just nothing like those tiny hands and soft skin and loads of facial expressions that are all equally cute (even the crying ones). But my favorite thing to miss? The fresh out of a swaddle baby stretch, with hands held high above the head while little booties wriggle and feet curl up. Bonus points added if a yawn is thrown in too. It’s definitely one of those baby actions that can’t be pinpointed as to what day they suddenly grew out of it, but like many things – as every parent will tell you- felt like it was in a blink.

Which is why capturing those early days will always be something I feel so proud and honored to do, freezing those moments that all too soon become distant memories that you can recall on the days you need to recall that baby sweetness (read: middle school years).

Here’s one adorable little babe who most certainly gave me a baby fix – and his canine sibling made this in home session all the more sweet.
