I was so fortunate to have met Mary Joyce and her family when I had the privelage of photographing her brother’s intimate wedding last year, so I was ecstatic when I was asked to be the photographer for her and Kyle’s big day!
These two were high school sweethearts and went on to date while attending different colleges-and having experienced the same relationship with my own husband, I could feel the extreme excitement they felt to put their long distance love behind them and start their new life together. Their wedding day was nothing short of fun and relaxed, and I absolutely loved the personal details they included in their reception at Stonewall Golf Club, including a nod to Star Wars and the story of Peter Pan’s acorn gift to Wendy. All in all it was a beautiful day and I was so grateful to capture it alongside my dear friend Stefanie (who captured beautiful detail shots and my favorite moment of Kyle seeing Mary Joyce begin her walk down the aisle).
