Laura and Patrick

I constantly pinch myself over the fact that couples like Laura and Patrick hire me to photograph their beautiful, perfectly executed wedding day without the fuss and stress that one would think should go along with that.  Laura and Patrick have amazing taste and wanted to throw a classic wedding celebration that was memorable for themselves and their guests, yet they kept a calm demeanor throughout the day that allowed them to really be present in the day and focus on the most important task of the day:  marrying one another.

Which is why there wasn’t a dry eye in the house during their ceremony, given that their wedding day was many years in the making.  They shared their own versions of meeting one another for the first time as pre teens, reconnecting in college, and staying true to their commitment to one another during Patrick’s years of deployment.  In short, they reminded everyone in the room of how love stories may be windy and have many curves – much like the marriage they were about to enter – but going through it all while holding onto the love you share is what makes life together grand.
