The first time I met Elizabeth and Noah, I remember her saying that she loved how the engagement pictures she’d seen on this site looked less like engagement portraits and more like people just having fun together. And since that’s exactly what I hope to portray, I did a big happy dance when she said that – in my head of course, because I knew from the second we met I wanted to be their photographer and wasn’t about to scare them away.
Fast forward to a few months later and it was their turn to have fun in front of the camera. So we headed up to Raven’s Roost for some frolicking amidst the trees and rocks, where the two of them spent their time laughing together and telling me stories that made me laugh. I left feeling giddy and grateful that my job introduces me to the best people in the world, and then Elizabeth sends me a thank you message for the session that read: “amidst the whirlwind that is wedding planning and the holidays, it reminded me of what getting married is really about.” At which point, upon reading that, I did another happy dance…and decided that I may need to hire Elizabeth as my PR department.
